Statue of St. Stephen, Hámor

The full-length whitestone portrait statue was erected in 1938 for the 900th anniversary of St. Stephen’s death. Sculptor Dezső Borsodi Bindász depicted Hungary’s first king with the symbols of power (crown, sceptre, mantle, pome).

Ruines of the Pauline Cloister at Szentlélek

The Pauline cloister at Szentlélek was built around 1340. Only fragments can be seen today from the Gothic walls, nevertheless the remaining high wall sections offer a grand scene in the heart of the forest.

Hungarian Engineering and Transport Museum – Massa Museum – „Ancient Furnace”, Forge (Vasverő)

Industrial monuments such as the ancient forge can be found only in three places in Europe. Beside the ancient forge a reconstructed iron forge stands from the 18th century and the Massa Museum, displaying its history.
